Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa is hosting the 10th Old Bags gala at 6 p.m. Aug. 4 at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates. The event, called “Feeding the Future,” will focus on hunger, which many Club families struggle with every day. It will include silent and live auctions and a performance by jazz singer Joey K. Suzie Glazer Burt is the event chair and Cyndi Harmeyer Fisher is the honorary chair. All proceeds will be used by Boys & Girls Clubs in the fight against hunger. Black tie optional.
