"Pink," of fine stationery, unique cards, and invitations fame, celebrated its fifth year in business at the Roosevelt Shopping Center this week! Owner Stacey Gibbs, thought it was cause for jubilation, and threw a birthday party. You go girl! (Hats off to anyone who can keep a small business running in this economy.) The party was a nice kickoff to a beautiful summer night. Lots of loyal fans and supporters showed up to help Stacey celebrate (and, of course, to get the free food). She served pretty-pink-champagne-lemonade-punch (made you pucker) and wine and beer. The food was catered by La Mie. Yummy. So next time you have an event or a party, instead of sending an e-mail or an e-vite....shock people with an old-fashioned real paper card and stamp from "Pink."
See you at "Red" opening next! Everyone needs a little color in their life!
Owner, Stacey Gibbs... What!? Stacey... You're not wearing PINK?!
Diane Proctor, Sammy Eubank, Liz Proctor, Suzanne Arnold, Wicker Van Orsdel on deck for fun.
Yes, there were guys there, but I think they were required to be there (if you know what I mean). Brooks Reynolds, (boyfriend) and Marshall Porter (brother of Stacey's sister) were our bartenders.
Suzie Burt, Stacey, and sisters Stephanie Leuck and Emily Porter.

Lots of great food by La Mie.
